Vlamassi, born and raised in Istanbul, is a classically trained pianist exploring new realms in electronic music, inspired by traditional melodies and his classical background. Not limiting himself to one genre, his music is deeply rooted in organic house and downtempo elements, incorporating real-life sound recordings from nature. He made his debut with a 3-track EP called Hasdal, in collaboration with guitarist Yalin Tekin, in April 2023. He is also the co-founder of EQUINOKS Studio, a creative studio specializing in sound design and media. As part of EQUINOKS, he creates immersive soundscapes tailored to visual and spatial experiences. Currently based in Berlin, Vlamassi presents his music both as a live act and DJ, blending Western and Eastern influences inspired by the fusion of his hometown. His latest release, Birds of Passage, is available on all music platforms.
